Ringwood Manor

Ringwood Manor is part of Ringwood State Park.  The manor has two large parking lots and is located right off Sloatsburg Road, making it easy to get to.  

Ringwood Manor is a large summer estate built for partners Peter Cooper and Abram S. Hewitt and their families.  With original historical structures, gardens, and landscapes on 582 acres and extensive historical collections illustrative of family life, community, industry and culture, Ringwood Manor is a unique repository of American history. 

The manor itself is well maintained and would serve as an excellent location for gilded-age productions.  The newly refurbished carriage barn is an excellent spot for films that involve horses and horse racing.  

Besides the buildings, there are fountains, streams, a pond with an island in the middle, a man-made waterfall, miles of trails and terraced gardens.  If old money scenes are what you are looking for, Ringwood Manor may just be the perfect spot for your production.
