Location
Governor Mountain can be reached by foot. It is a mile from the Presbyterian Church off Carletondale Road. You take the Cooper Union trail (yellow blazes) and it climbs about 300 feet in a mile.
Filming Highlights
The trail to Governor Mountain is a relatively easy trail. Filming in the autumn and winter will allow a gentle light to spill across subjects in transit as the sun sets. The viewpoint itself has many areas to take in the view. The lowest viewpoint is 20 by 40 feet, allowing for equipment to be placed further from the subject than most other viewpoints in the area.
